If we haven’t gotten the chance to meet yet, my name is Rabbi Benjy Forester, and I began working at Anshe Emet this summer. I hope you all know how lucky you were to grow up in this amazing community! I was hoping I could catch you all before you head back to school so that I could meet you and get to know you a bit. I’ll be hanging out at Windy City Sweets (3308 N Broadway) Thursday, January 4 from 1:00-2:30PM. Feel free to drop in whenever you’re able, text your Anshe Emet friends to come by, too, and I’ll treat you all to your favorite flavor. I’d love to get to know you, to learn what you’re studying and involved in, and to check in on how you’ve been holding up as a Jewish student on campus.
